Meet Yoso, NNC Collective 24 artist | Apply for the NNC Gallery Challenge 2026
Dear Art Lovers, Collectors and Art Professionals,
We are pleased to introduce Yoso, the artist name of Spanish artist Ambrosio López González, selected for Collective 24 through the NNC Gallery Challenge 2024.
Trained as an architect, Yoso has developed a multidisciplinary practice that brings together digital creation, photography and sculpture. His works often begin with dreams or fleeting intuitions, which he transforms into carefully constructed images using his own photographs and drawings. Bones, fingerprints and human figures recur throughout his work, inviting us to consider the uniqueness of each individual and the complexity of human experience.
Adam

In Adam, a life-size figure made from X-rays and drawings reaches towards the possibility of flight, bringing the physical body into dialogue with an inner impulse to go beyond its limits. In Newborn White on Blue, the artist’s fingerprints form the face of a newborn, connecting birth with identity and the singular trace each person leaves behind. Yoso also experiments with materials and presentation, using illuminated and translucent supports to give his images a striking physical presence in space.
His work has been presented in solo and group exhibitions in Spain and internationally. His recognitions include winning the XXVII Jaume Graells Digital Art Award, being selected for the Arte Laguna Prize 2023–24 and participating in the Florence Biennale 2025. Applications for the SEPTEMBER 2026 — NNC Gallery Challenge are open until 30 September 2026. Artists selected for the Challenge will be published in our magazine, featured through our communication channels and given the opportunity to become part of the NNC Gallery.
