Photo symbolism and painting
Twin Flames is based on the concept of a twin soul that exists in this world. The artist drew inspiration from the image of flames for these works, which evoke passion, energy, and the connection between two souls.
In NRG, the artist captures a palpable sense of energy in a photograph taken during a classical music concert in an old church, where candles were lit. The atmosphere was imbued with a spiritual presence, which the artist believes has been successfully captured in the image. After leaving the church, the artist was accompanied by a flock of crows flying overhead—birds often regarded as messengers.
Some images were displayed in an exhibit focused on how communities can come together to heal after the Covid-19 pandemic.
In terms of Photo Symbolism, the artist engages in ongoing research and experimentation. This approach extends beyond literal representation, using photography to express deeper symbolic meanings. By combining photographic techniques with elements of painting, the artist aims to convey emotional, spiritual, and psychological dimensions. The goal is not merely to capture moments but to use visual elements to symbolize ideas, emotions, or universal experiences, thus pushing the boundaries of both photography and symbolic art.
