Radmila Urošević
Artist, Writer & Curator – NNC Circle Member
Radmila Urošević is a Serbian-born artist, writer, and curator based in Paris. She joined NNC Gallery in 2018 as an artist and is now an active contributor to the NNC blog, where she writes in-depth articles that connect contemporary art with both critical and poetic insight.
Her artistic practice revolves around modular painting systems that adapt to space and movement, challenging the fixed nature of the artwork and its exhibition context. She explores space and material through volume and drawing with dots, engaging with themes of mobility, perception, and spatial identity.
Radmila completed her Bachelor's, Master's, and PhD in Visual Arts at the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. Her doctoral research, Painting: the surface as an interface, explores the relationship between the pictorial surface and the context in which it is displayed. She also studied visual arts at ENSAPC Cergy and art history and archaeology at Paris Nanterre, though without completing degrees at those institutions.
She has exhibited widely across France and has coordinated and co-curated several research-based exhibitions and projects. Her writing appears in academic journals and art publications, contributing to a contemporary discourse that blends theory, emotion, and experience.
Radmila is a vital voice within the NNC Circle, bridging visual experimentation, curatorial research, and editorial practice.
