What is the effect of incisions?
Opening, change, violation, further development.
Closed structures like tiles and cubes are unclosed by incisions into complexity, into the outer space and thus also reveal their inner spaces.
In my works a range of cuts, opening and forming emerge - from strongly moving up to a focus on the incision - depending, among other things, on the material. I experiment with bronze, steel, clay, paper and wood.
