This digital catalogue accompanies the virtual exhibition The Aesthetics of Fragility, the Gesture of the Everyday, featuring the poetic and intimate work of Italian artist Monica De Mitri. Her sculptural and decorative objects create quiet yet powerful microcosms that speak to tradition, memory, and presence — where Baroque and Art Nouveau motifs meet contemporary visual language.

More than a collection of images, the catalogue includes curatorial texts, artistic statements, and a special section titled Shared Self-Portraits, where the artist appears alongside her works, highlighting the essential relationship between creator and creation.
