From the past:Giulia Spernazza, Special guest by Vanessa Rusci, 2021nnc gallery london project

I chose Giulia Spernazza because her art possesses a depth that transcends the material itself. Her sculptures and installations, crafted from a variety of unconventional materials, establish a dialogue between the individual and the concepts of home, intimacy, and vulnerability. Through her inner exploration, Spernazza challenges us to delve into our own fragilities and expose them with courage. Her artistic evolution, evident in the transition towards more fluid and essential forms, reflects a universal emotional journey. Giulia is an artist who goes beyond mere shapes, delving into the very essence of human existence.

Born on March 23, 1979, in Rome, Giulia Spernazza is a renowned artist. She graduated from the Experimental Art High School in 1998 and later earned her Academic Diploma in Decoration with top honors from the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome in 2008.

In 2008, she founded the "Evasioni" Studio in Rome, a unique gallery-laboratory where she creates, displays her work, and offers individual modeling courses.

Spernazza's career has been marked by significant exhibitions and recognition. In 2010, she participated in the "L'Intimo Mistico dell'Opera" Collective Exhibition at the Centrale Montemartini Museum in Rome, among other exhibitions and projects.

Her art explores themes such as intimacy, vulnerability, and human essence. Spernazza's dedication to art goes beyond materials, inviting viewers to delve into their emotions and experiences.
