Enzo Crispino
Born in Frattamaggiore (Naples) in 1964 and resides in the province of Reggio Emilia.
Self-taught photographer, admitted for artistic merits as Member of Merit at the International Academy of Modern Art in Rome
My works are present in two Italian museums.
Some of my photographic projects are kept at the C.S.A.C of Parma, Study Centre Archive and Communication of the University of Parma.
Publication of two of my photographic books by Corsiero editore: "La bellezza perduta" and "Otto ore".
Selected by Vogue Italia and the Art+Commerce agency in New York, since 2015 invited to join the American agency for freelance photographers, Blink in New York.
Represented by Artifact Gallery of New York and Galleria Duepuntozero of Bergamo.

I don't call myself a photographer, but an interpreter of Photography. For years, my photographic research has been mainly focused on the relationship between man and the territory. Lately I have been studying and producing photographic projects on Pictorialism and Citationism.

4.0
The ten photographs I am presenting are part of a larger project, consisting of 30 images, called 4.0.
With this project, I wanted to distance myself from a classic photography view in the industrial photography field, because I wanted to go on a search of color where it does not exist.
Colour, in production environments, has no purpose. Everything is gray except for signs and notices. In this concept, I therefore wanted to enhance with the saturation of color small details of some components of machinery and tools present in this high-tech company called "4.0", with the intention of transferring an aesthetic and also ethical dimension to machines and environments normally destined to remain anonymous and devoid of cultural content.
